Fall Nature Walk at Byrnes Park

  • Jeffery Manor 2401 East 100th Street Chicago, Illinois, 60617 United States (map)

Join us for a guided Fall Nature Walk at Byrnes Park and experience the beautiful colors, textures, and changing landscape of the season. Participants will meet at the Jeffery manor library before walking together to Marian R. Byrnes Park. We'll explore the many shades of native grasses and dried flower heads while looking for birds that have stayed through the fall or recently arrived to spend the winter. Participants will have an opportunity to help collect native plant seeds and learn more about the importance of these plants for wildlife. You can even create a small fall bouquet to take home and enjoy as autumn decor! Presented by the Chicago Park District-Marian R. Byrnes Park Accessibility Need sign language interpretation or other accessibility assistance for this event? Please call (312) 747-8184 or email access@chipublib.org to request accommodations.
