Chicago Fall Fest 2026 is here!

Mayor Brandon Johnson is proud to present Chicago Fall Fest 2026, an effort to acknowledge and share the amazing fall events happening from October 16 to November 2 in Chicago. Chicago Fall Fest aims to ensure that all youth and residents have a celebratory and safe fall season. Fall Fest 2026 Highlights

Presented by Project Exploration and the Austin Experience, with support from the City of Chicago, Chicago Public Library, and Chicago Park District.

CHICAGO TEENS: You are invited you to an epic Fall themed party in the Winter Garden. Celebrate the season with a costume contest, music, games, food, scary movies, and more! Register below, tickets are limited.

Halloween Parade

Presented by LUMA8 and the City of Chicago in partnership with DCASE and with major support from Chicago Loop Alliance and Goodwill of Greater Milwaukee and Chicago.                        

This magical evening parade celebrates Halloween as the “artist’s holiday.” It's a dazzling production that delights the audience with unique floats, spectacle puppets, and creative performances – all set against the backdrop of historic State Street.

Be a star in the parade by dressing in costume and walking through dozens of singing, dancing, and spectacle-performance groups stationed along Russell Drive in Washington Park. Attendees will receive free goody bags at the end of the route.
